Tower Studios has revealed the release dates for the PC and console versions of its popular arcade action football series, Sociable Soccer.
The Steam and Nintendo Switch editions of Sociable Soccer 24 will be released digitally on November 16, 2023. The Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions, including physical release, are scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
Led by Jon Hare, the master behind the beloved Sensible Soccer series, Tower Studios also announced a new licensing agreement with FIFPRO, adding more than 10,000 licensed players from around the world to the game. This collaboration makes Sociable Soccer 24 the only FIFPRO-licensed arcade action football game currently available on PC and consoles.
The big highlight of Sociable Soccer 24 is its fast and fluid arcade gameplay. Easy to learn, but difficult to master, in keeping with the tradition of Hare’s previous football games. Single-player career mode offers fun and challenge as you climb the online leagues, collecting and upgrading your team. The online multiplayer mode impresses with the speed and smoothness of the action, while the local multiplayer mode delivers the most entertaining action football experience of this century.
Players can explore a world full of football, with 77 real-world trophies to collect, clans that represent their club against rivals, and over 1,000 teams to choose from.
Jon Hare expressed his delight: “So far, so many people have joined the Sociable Soccer journey, and it feels like an epic quest.” He added: “It is particularly gratifying to finally deliver the PC and console versions we promised eight years ago. Sociable Soccer 24 marks a significant point in the journey so far, and we would like to thank all of our partners, including FIFPRO’s new partners and their 10,000 stars who came to join the party.”
