Agony did not entirely meet the expectations of players and reviewers. The game failed in many areas, as you can learn from our review. However, the creators, Madmind Studio, decided to produce a spin-off titled SUCCUBUS. We will play the title Succubus, a wild and lust-arousing demoness known from Agony. The creators describe their latest project in the following words:

With the disappearance of the rightful rulers of Hell, the remaining demons recognized as their ruler the only soul who could take over the mind of the powerful Beast. By building his new empire from the corpses of sinners, the new king – Nimrod, together with his queen – Succubus, managed to control the chaos left behind by the old rulers. However, the new, honorable title of the Queen of Hell turned out to be incompatible with the animal nature of the demoness, who renounced the luxury of walking on carpets made of the skins of martyrs, choosing to live in the wilderness and hunt. Satisfying her desires and primal instincts, the new queen meets a powerful Baphomet, who, together with his army, is heading for the soul of King Nimrod. Having been humiliated and betrayed by her own species – succubi, the heroine regains her strength with only one clear goal – REVENGE!

Unlike Agony, the gameplay in SUCCUBUS is supposed to put more emphasis on action. The game will feature dynamic battles with bosses, which we will be able to defeat using melee weapons and pyrokinesis. The surreal visual setting is intended to enhance the pleasure of discovering the dark, multi-threaded plot. Of course, the whole thing will be kept in a similar style to Agony.
