‘The King of Fighters XIV’ arrives in North America on August 23

Popular developer SNK Playmore has finally revealed the release date. official launch of the long-awaited PlayStation 4 exclusive, The King of Fighters XIV. According to him, the game will arrive in Japan for 7,200 yen (plus taxes), while in North America it will be released on next August 23.

Unfortunately has not been confirmed a launch of the game in Europe, which may well mean that the title will not reach this territory or that it has not yet been decided on the distributor that will be in charge of the project. In either case, we will keep you informed.

The company has announced the pre-order prizes and for purchasing the first copies of the game. Those who do this will receive an exclusive design book for collectors. Also, those who buy during the first week of launch you will receive the classic suit “Classic Kyo” by Kyo Kusanagi, his costume from The King of Fighters Orochi saga (The King of Fighters ’94 – The King of Fighters ’98). Additionally, the first physical copies in Japan will include another book of “premium” designs.
