The Sound Four join ‘Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4’

Bandai Namco and developer CyberConnect2 have announced that The Four Ninjas of Sound They will join the long-awaited Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 as part of the first DLC pack.

The information was revealed through the Official PlayStation Blogwhere the president of CyberConnect2 assures that this delivery will have the greatest number of playable characters ever seen in a Naruto game. In addition, it states that the developer analyzed the manga in depth to have the best possible version of The Sound Four.

You can find Matsuyama’s words next:

Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has the largest roster of characters we’ve ever put into a Naruto game. If you have a favorite Naruto character, chances are he or she is playable! The development team has been working hard on creating engaging and interesting concepts with many of the characters. These range from characters that “awaken” in different forms with completely new attacks and completely different playstyles, to new combo attacks, hidden techniques and secret combo techniques that require players to use specific characters to unleash amazing attacks. I was even surprised by the team’s proposal regarding the group of new characters.

One of the biggest changes to the gameplay is the dynamic between the main team leader character and the supporting characters. In previous games your team of three characters consisted of a main party leader and two supporting characters that players could summon to aid their moves during battle. Players can now switch between the three existing characters during battle to use as a team leader, bringing with it a host of new strategies for team formations and battle tactics. It is a very useful tool to help hone and improve your skills.

So far I’ve been talking about the characters and battles, but I’d be crazy if I didn’t mention the game’s superstar, Story Mode. We take you all the way through the 4th Great Shinobi War for the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke. Maybe I’m a little biased, but when all the pieces come together – the atmosphere, the animation, the art, the special effects, the gameplay and the music – I think it’s a work of art. The final battle is so incredible that it even made me cry.
