AMD fuels rumors about PS4 NEO for this year

After the investors meeting AMD held earlier today, the company gave a brief speech about its overall approach to the modern industry. Even more interesting, it seems that one of the topics to be discussed may have been specifically aimed at “PS4 NEO”, the rumored new version of Sony’s current desktop platform.

As reported by Ars Technica, AMD has explained that it is working on three new systems semi-custom on chip (SOC) that have the word “victory” on them. These three products seem to be being developed as a source of income for the manufacturer, which will allow you to make profits over the next three or four years, stating that at least one of these systems will arrive by the end of the first half of 2016.

Of course a new PlayStation 4 review is the first thing comes to mind, because Sony’s previous dealings with AMD make it make sense for both companies to work together again for this rumored version. However it can also be about other projectssuch as Nintendo’s next platform, NX, or an also rumored new version of Xbox One with better hardware.

Still, many experts expect PS4 NEO to October this yearso this may be the AMD project that we will see at the end of the first half of this year, leaving the other two projects to Nintendo and Microsoft.
