Disney Interactive and Wargaming will skip this E3

Developers Disney Interactive Studios and Wargaming announced that will not be present at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016, which will take place in mid-June this year.

Just like will happen with other companies Like Electronic Arts and Activision, a Disney Interactive representative has announced that the company plans to have its own digital event for fans during the summer of this year. Additionally, a Wargaming representative has shared the reasons of the companies to skip the biggest video game event of the year.

These were the words of Wargaming:

From a business perspective, we will focus a majority of activities on events focused on our players and community. Whether it’s a small group of gamers or hundreds of people at one of our gaming events, gamers are our top priority. From a strictly business point of view, E3 does not fit with our current direction. It’s an event that’s very focused on physical products, and while we know the show can be good for our advertisers and developers, it’s not a great fit for us right now.
