Disney announced that a set of toys to life figures will arrive with Disney Infinity 3.0, when the game is available in the fall. The installment will have characters like Luke, Leia, Anakin and more, while its story will take place after the events of Star Wars: Episode II.
Avalanche Studios, the subsidiary of Disney Interactive, will be in charge of the development of this title and will have the support of Ninja Theory to adjust the combat of the Twligiht of the Rebpulic playset, in which Anakin and Ahsokia will fight to discover who is behind a huge army of droids. Sumo Digital, makers of Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing, will do the vehicle driving parts.
In addition to the aforementioned characters, NFC figures of Obi-Wan, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Darh Vader, Darh Maul and Yoda will also be available. Toys from different sets can be combined to create non-canon situations that will drive Star Wars fans crazy. Additionally, Disney announced that a playset based on The Force Awakens will arrive in winter.
Disney Infinity 3.0 It will also feature Marvel characters such as Hulkbuster Iron Man, Ultron and many others, which will be compatible with a playset developed by United Front Games. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Sam Flynn, Quorra, Mulan and Olaf will also have their own figures for this new edition.
