‘For Honor’ will be a game for hardcores, according to Ubisoft

One of Ubisoft’s surprises during the last E3 2015 was For Honora new IP that presented us with a cooperative action game set in medieval times in which battles will be mixed with armed gentlemenpowerful vikings and stealthy samurai in combat arenas.

The proposal was shocking at the time and Ubisoft itself is aware that it is a risky bet that may not please everyone. This was expressed by Alain Martínez, CFO of the French company on the American portal GameSpot.

For Honor is above all a game for hardcores rather than for the masses of the market.

We already told you yesterday about Ubisoft’s plans to achieve great financial results during the next fiscal year, and games like Watch Dogs 2, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon WildLands or this one will have to work in sales to achieve the objectives. Will the hardcore audience give it that massive support in the form of sales? We will see.
