We recently learned that the next installment of the series Hitman for PlayStation 4 and other current generation platforms, titled Hitman, would be released through an episodic format throughout 2016 starting this coming March 11.
However, the game will continue to maintain its “live component”, the name given by the developer IO Interactive to a feature of the title that has finally been detailed through a thread on the Steam forums and now we will proceed to explain it to you.
First of all we have the “Elusive Targets”, limited time contracts with a “very challenging” feature where objectives can be customized and added to existing maps. The time we will have to eliminate our targets It will run in real time and we will only have one chance; the objectives will not appear on the map, we will have to locate them with clues that will guide us to the objective.
In “escalation mode” our regular objectives they will become more difficult as we progress, adding new requirements to carry out the murder (with certain tools or in certain ways); with the objective of mix mechanics of game.
The “Contracts Mode” returns in this installment, previously available in Hitman: Absolution. These are specific challenges created by the community or that the developer IO will publish in a list.
Finally we find the”Live Challenges”, challenges community based but added by the developer. One of the challenges that the study wants to add is inspired by a Twitch stream in which the player “only used hammers to knock down the guards.”
