Intel announces 5th edition of Intel Gamer Days and presents the 14th generation Intel Core

Intel is back with the 5th edition of Intel Gamer Days, a festival of offers especially aimed at electronic game enthusiasts. The big news this year is the introduction of Blue Friday, a day full of emotions and unmissable opportunities for game lovers.

The global festival will begin on August 21st and run until August 31st, featuring exclusive offers and special content in celebration of International Gamer Day, scheduled for August 29th. Offers will be available at intel.com.br/gamerdays.

This year, Intel Gamer Days will bring activations and offers in several Latin American countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile and Colombia, as part of a 360º strategy specially designed for this region, which is home to more than 289 million players.

With the challenge of surpassing the success of 2022, the festival promises special discounts throughout the period, exclusive activations and livestreams with influencers and content creators from Intel’s Blue Team.

On August 21st, to inaugurate Intel Gamer Days, the public will be able to closely follow the assembly of a Gamer PC, exploring all the details that provide a unique experience in the world of electronic games. In addition, a special sales event will be organized by the brand, to bring, according to Intel, the best offers.

For Carlos “Guto” Buarque, Marketing Director at Intel Brazil, Intel Gamer Days arose from the company’s desire to be increasingly closer to the gaming public, a priority segment. “We always seek to provide gamers with the most modern and innovative, providing the best gaming experience on the market. Today, Brazil is the largest gaming market in Latin America, and Intel has been a catalyst for innovation in the field of PC gaming, bringing the industry together to bring consumers the best possible machine for gaming and creating content,” says the executive.

Additionally, Intel launched its new desktop processor family, the 14th generation Intel Core, led by the i9-14900K. This line includes six unlocked processors, offering up to 24 cores and 32 threads, and speeds of up to 6 GHz. Highlight is the i7-14700K, with 20 cores and 28 threads. The Extreme Tuning Tool (XTU) introduces a new AI Assist feature for AI-guided overclocking on certain unlocked 14th Gen Intel Core processors.

According to Roger Chandler, vice president of Intel, this generation stands out for its advanced hybrid performance architecture, meeting the demands of gamers and creators without compromising the workflow. The i9-14900K is the world’s fastest processor, while the i7-14700K offers 25% more cores for significant gains in multi-threaded workloads. With superior overclocking, compatibility with existing motherboards and availability from October 17, 2023, the 14th generation promises power and performance for enthusiasts.

Furthermore, the new line stands out for:

  1. Ultimate Gaming Platform: Up to 23% increased gaming performance compared to competitors with gaming-focused features like Intel Application Optimization® (APO) and Intel® Thread Director thread scheduling.
  2. Continued Leadership in Overclocking: Intel® XTU AI Assist feature for AI-guided overclocking, support for DDR5 XMP speeds beyond 8,000 MT/S.
  3. Best-in-Class Connectivity: Built-in support for Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth® 5.3, plus support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Also includes support for Thunderbolt™ 4 and upcoming Thunderbolt 5.
