Last year, Motorola returned to the tablet market with the entry-level Tab G20, then released the more capable Tab G70 in January. Now the brand is working on a model between these two: the Moto Tab G62 has been seen on the Google Play console.
Unfortunately, most of the details are still under wraps, but we do have two model numbers: XT2261-1 and XT2261-2. Looking at the trade names of the two, it is clear that the second will have 4G connectivity.
This was also the case with the Moto Tab G70, an 11-inch Helio G90T tablet. It launched in India and Brazil with Android 11, 4/64GB memory (expandable with microSD slot), and 7700mAh battery with 20W fast charge.
By the way, there is also a Moto G62, a 5G phone with Snapdragon 480+ technology. There is probably no relationship between the G62 and the G62 Tab beyond the name. Instead, it can be linked to a Lenovo tablet; for example, the Tab G70 is based on the Lenovo Tab P11 Plus.
