Motorola plans to present new devices on October 18th

If the announcement from the company’s German press office is to be believed, several new Motorola devices will be presented on October 18th. What do the Americans have in their bag?

According to assumptions, the newcomers are the Xoom2 tablet and the Spyder smartphone. This also translates into the slogan “Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger.” understand how Americans want to draw attention to their new products – because these are exactly the attributes that differentiate Xoom2 and Spyder from their predecessors. The Spyder in particular is eagerly awaited because it boasts some nice features compared to the somewhat boring Atrix: for example, it is equipped with the UMTS successor LTE and has a Super AMOLED qHD display.

A dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM will be installed in both devices and the Xoom2 will be produced in two variants with 10 and 8 inch displays. It is almost certain that the devices will also be available on the German market. But enough guesswork – we’ll know more on October 18th!
