The developer Allegorithmic announced today that popular studio Naughty Dog has been using its Substance texture creation program with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End; the end of the road for Nathan Drake, although we still don’t know yes the end of the saga.
Naughty Dog has confirmed that it will hold a session at GDC in San Francisco during March of this year with studio artists, Bradford Smith and Rogelio Olguin, who will be demonstrating how Substance was used to accommodate the textures in the game.
Allegorithmic stated that This is the biggest project done with Substance in the story and are eager to have four artists from the studio joining them at GDC. The conference will be called “Texturing Uncharted 4: a matter of Substance” and will present a short speech general information about the tool, as well as the goals and evolution of Substance.
