‘Rocket League’ reaches 11 million downloads

Last summer, Psyonix released an independent title which at first glance did not seem anything out of the ordinary, but managed to quickly become a worldwide success. This is Rocket League, a game that arrived in digital format to PlayStation 4, PC and most recently, Xbox One.

Today the development company is pleased to announce that the title has already reached 11 million downloads, an impressive number for an indie game. This installment has received multiple wins at the 2015 game awards, including best multiplayer gamebest user interface, best indie game and many more.

The price currently sells for $20 and includes all additional content previously released, something that without a doubt means a lot of fun. For PlayStation 4 the game appeared for free in the monthly PlayStation Plus gamessomething that surely ensured a large part of those downloads.
