Apple’s new dual-port USB-C power adapters are available to order now, and both will go on sale for $59 each.
The new power adapters are rated at 35W and both feature two USB-C ports, and Apple says they’re designed specifically for the new MacBook Air, powered by Apple’s latest silicon. You can also use these adapters to charge iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, etc., while the 12-inch MacBook is also listed as compatible.
The compact 35W dual-port USB-C power adapter lets you charge two devices at the same time, whether you’re at home, in the office, or on the go. The compact size and collapsible skewers make it easy to pack and store. Apple recommends using it with MacBook Air. You can also use it with iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and AirPods.
Both power adapters are essentially the same, although the “compact” offering has a foldable power supply that makes it particularly useful for those on the go. In terms of power output, both adapters are identical.
Those who want to order the 35W Dual-Port USB-C Power Adapter can do so for $59 directly from Apple, while the Compact 35W USB-C Dual-Port Power Adapter is also available for the same price; both will be with you in just one business day if you order early, although this delivery window may be longer depending on popularity.
Apple has also made the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with M2 technology available for pre-order, though you’ll have to wait until next week to receive it. Apple’s latest MacBook Air is expected to be available next month, though the company won’t say exactly when.
