During TGS 2014, popular developer Arc System Works announced that was developing Inferno Climber as a PlayStation 4 exclusive on consoles, something that was taken with quite a bit of enthusiasm by fans at the time.
Said fans could now be more than disappointed with the latest news from the company. Today the game we haven’t heard about in quite some time has updated its release date from “2015” to Spring 2016 on Steam. The company also announced that the PS4 version has been abandoned and will focus only on the PC version, although without explaining the reasons for this decision.
It’s not often that a game is canceled on PS4, but it’s probably due to a financing issue or compatibility and development. To “celebrate these new announcements,” the company has published a new trailer-teaser of the game that you can find below:
