God Eater 3 will get a co-op mode for eight players in the form of siege missions. These will be extremely difficult tasks culminating in fights with powerful bosses. Eight players is a lot, but it won’t be easy.
In the video below you can take a look at one of such missions. The problem is that players will be selected randomly, and when there are too few of them, NPCs will step in to help.
We will only have 5 minutes to complete the task, and rewards will be distributed regardless of victory or defeat.
The action of the new part of the God Eater series takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, and the upcoming third part is a fictional continuation of God Eater 2 Rage Burst. The latest production will introduce completely new characters to the saga.
One of them is Aragami, Barbarius has powerful armor and can attack players with a drill-like weapon. He can also attack players with his own hands.
God Eater 3 also introduces new gameplay mechanics, these are Burst Plugin and Installing Skins. The first one is responsible for upgrading the player’s weapon or shield, and the second one focuses on improving performance.
The latest part of God Eater will be released early next year, and the target platforms are PlayStation 4 and PC.
