It seems that the last generation has been the home of remasters and remakes, since the developers consider it a desired and accessible idea to bring the most popular games of the past generation to the technology of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Ace Combat 7 director Kazutoki Kono seems to agree to join this position and has published two interesting surveys through its official Twitter account, the first asking fans if they would like to see a remake of Ace Combat 2, Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies or Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. The second survey asks fans to choose between Ridge Racer, R4; Ridge Racer Type 4 and Ridge Racer 7, or a “Super Ridge Racer” with many real vehicles.
