The first images of ‘The Surge’ revealed

Focus Home Interactive, in partnership with Deck 13 Interactive, the same developer from Lords of the Fallen, have released the first images of their upcoming action RPG titled The Surge; what is expected to be released throughout the next year on PlayStation 4 and other current generation platforms.

The Surge takes place in an infertile land on the verge of destruction, after accelerated technological advances and abuse of the environment as the main responsible for a current decadent civilization. According to both companies, this delivery has innovative combat mechanics and a unique character upgrade system based on “modular upgrades earned through visceral combat.”

The first images of the game They are aimed at introducing us to our hero, who is equipped with an exoskeleton that will be the basis of the upgrade system. When fighting enemies, we can modify and customize the pieces of our equipment, weapons or accessories attached to the exoskeleton; although the best parts are difficult to obtain and are usually related to the most dangerous enemies.
