Although there have been attempts before, for now the uncrowned king of life simulators is still The Sims series. However, this spring, the announcement was made that the Paradox Tectonic studio is preparing the Life by You, a new challenger that is also being worked on by Rod Humble, one of the biggest experts on the subject. Previously, he was also involved in the creation of The Sims and Second Life games.
A few days ago, Life by You received a new, eleven-minute presentation, in which, in addition to getting a closer look at some elements of the gameplay, the developers also answer a few questions. This is not the first video of this kind, as there have been similar videos in the past about relationships with other townspeople and relationships.
This time, the topic is perhaps even more exciting, as we can hear and see details about the construction in the video. The designer and editor will basically work like in the last The Sims, but there will be different elements and new features. For example, you can put a fence on the property boundary. Our house can have any number of levels, it can only be limited by the capabilities of our PC. We will have the opportunity to install air conditioning in our home, but there is no news yet on whether we can also take care of the heating in the same way.
According to the original plans, Life by You would have been released this year, but in the summer it turned out that the producers could not keep it. Instead, according to the current situation, we can prepare for the premiere on March 5, 2024.
