25 developers reveal their expectations for PlayStation VR

The last installment of this week’s Famitsu magazine brought us two interesting surveys about Sony Computer Etertainment’s virtual reality device, PlayStation VR.

One of the surveys was conducted with readers. The second has even more weight in the industry, since it was focused on 25 important game developers as Katsuhiro Harada, Kenichiro Takagi and Masachika Kawada, from Tekken, Senran Kagura and Resident Evil: Revelations respectively.

In this survey, 94% of developers They said they were interested for PlayStation VR, with 6% disinterest. There were also 67% of developers working or conducting research about Virtual Reality, 22% who are neither working nor researching about it and 6% who decided not to comment on it.

About if they will release software for VR, 61% of them are considering it, 22% will not, 11% will and the other 6% avoided commenting. When they were asked about Oculus Rift price88% stated that it is high, while the other 12% did not comment.
