As many of you know, Platonic Games is a developer made up of ex-workers from the popular company now part of Microsoft, Rare.
It seems that another creative has decided to join the ship from Platonic to work on the long-awaited Yooka-Laylee, the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie that will be released soon on most current generation consoles. This is none other than Kev Bayliss.
Bayliss is one of the designers with more history within the company. He has been part of the software production team for major releases such as Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong Country, Star Fox Adventures and many more. He has also done memorable voiceovers, including James Bond in GoldenEye 007.
Kev claims to have been a few days with the Platonic team before beginning the transition process, which involves a move that will allow you to reach the studio in just 15 minutes “instead of two hours”, which in his opinion will translate into better graphic quality for the game and a shorter development time.
