According to what was reported by today’s source, we already know some info, date and price of the new and future Apple Watch SE 3.
The third-generation Apple Watch SE is expected to launch next year, specifically in September 2024, but we already have some important information about the low-cost Apple smartwatch.
Earlier this year, technology research firm Omdia reported that the Apple Watch SE 3 will feature the same display size as the Apple Watch Series 8. Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Series 9 have the same display size as the Apple Watch Series 7, which introduced a slightly more rounded and larger case design to accommodate larger displays with thinner bezels. So, the third generation Apple Watch SE will also adopt the aforementioned design. This means it would be available in 41mm and 45mm case sizes, up from the current 40mm and 44mm, providing almost 20% more viewing area and therefore visual display.
Furthermore, this new model is also expected to get the “S10” chip, taken from other existing Apple Watch models.
Date and Price Apple Watch SE 3
Previous generations of Apple Watch SE were launched in September 2020 and September 2022. Apple Watch SE 3 is therefore expected to stick to a two-year update cycle and, according to the very famous journalist Mark Gurman of SamaGame News, will arrive in September 2024.
Finally, regarding the price, there should be no changes from the current model on sale.
In the meantime, Apple is developing the new non-invasive blood glucose monitoring technology, to always carry with you, which involves shooting a laser under the subject’s skin, in order to determine the concentration of glucose in the blood, in a certified and proven.
