Asheron’s Call 2 goes offline

The competition is very fierce in the MMORPG world, including World of Warcraft and Guild Wars. Asheron’s Call 2 can no longer keep up the pace. That is why the server goes offline at the end of the year.

According to Jeffrey Anderson, director of Turbine (developer of Asheron’s Call 2), it no longer makes sense to keep the server online. There is too much competition, and because there are far fewer players of Asheron’s Call 2, virtually no profit is made anymore.

Asheron’s Call 2 will officially go offline on December 30. Until then, players can still participate in events and competitions.

One final thank you from Jeffrey Anderson to all fans of Asheron’s Call 2:

“We deeply appreciate the many dedicated fans of AC2 who have stood by us over the years. You have our sincerest gratitude”.
