Bethesda has talked at length about the progress and customization that we will be able to implement in its next DOOM release. The developer has told us a little more about what we can do in its long-awaited new title that will go on sale at the beginning of next May.
Regarding the customization of our character, we will be faced with an important factor, but not a determining factor in the game. At the beginning of each level, we will be allowed to choose a configuration for our marine, but this may not be the most accurate and will make us go back to the beginning to choose the one that best suits that level.
The choice of this factor will be important and will depend a lot on what the level asks us to do. Bethesda has also confirmed that none of these customizations will be more powerful than the others, they will simply adapt better to what they ask of us at that moment.
In this aspect, also from Bethesda, they tell us about the possibility of customizing our weapons, we can prepare the weapons in such a way that With just the push of a trigger we go from one type of weapon to another more suitable for that particular moment, something that will undoubtedly be very useful for chaining deaths on different enemies and that is undoubtedly perfect for the progress section that we tell you about below.
Regarding the progress of our marine, we will start from the basis that the Bethesda title, at all times invites us to eliminate demons and enemies as quickly as possible, never standing still in the same place and chaining deaths at full speed. In this way, chaining different executions will give us, for example, more weapons if we decide to eliminate several enemies with the chainsaw in a short period of time. According to the creators of the game The developing feeling of chaining deaths will be like seeing Bruce Lee in a skate park with a shotgun in his hands.
DOOM will be available for next generation consoles, including, of course, PlayStation 4 on May 13.
