Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, new demo (video) and confirmed release date
Directly from the Konami we learn the new demo and all new PS4 gameplay video footage of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Furthermore, official confirmations arrive regarding the release of the game, which will be launched next year, i.e. not before 2015.
The new demo videos of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain are full of contents that allow you to better evaluate the new Konami game and increase the feeling of expectation of all fans of this classic video game even more. There 20 minute demo, which was revealed by director Hideo Kojima at TGS, shows Snake and the Silent Sniper as they creep through an area of the jungle and climb through rocky walls, reaching places that are bristly and unwilling to welcome adventurers.
Quiet also seems to be helping Snake during the mission, providing overwatch and cover fire at the same time, allowing the protagonist to advance unscathed. Dynamic weather is exhibited, too, with the rain beginning to fall across the forest partially, through the mission.
Eurogamer reports that a release of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain for 2015 has been confirmed from Kojima and halfway through the demo, although a more specific date has not been confirmed.
A new trailer has also been released by Konami, but if you don’t have a basic knowledge of Japanese, don’t expect to recognize what is actually happening in the gameplay video of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
