Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, the European subsidiary of the company that recently Happened to be called officially Sony Interactive Entertainment, has recently registered a new patent called “The Sentinel”, probably referring to a new project in development which is surely related to PlayStation 4 or even PlayStation VR.
Unfortunately the patent does not reveals too much information, although the classification indicates that it will effectively be a video game (9) and under the category of online games (41). In addition, the patent is still under review and could be approved at any time. After that, an announcement could arrive at any timealthough we remind you that E3 2016 is getting closer and we could have news right there.
