The lawsuit against Rockstar reveals the development problems of ‘Red Dead Redemption’

Just yesterday we told you that Leslie Benziesformer Producer of Rockstar Games, demanded to his former company and Take-Two for royalty issues. Thanks to the lawsuit we have been able to learn curious facts about Benzies’ stay at the developer responsible for great hits such as Grand Theft Auto V or Red Dead Redemption.

We are precisely talking about the Wild West sandbox, a game that enjoyed a great reception, It received many awards and was a true success with critics and the public. In these cases one might think that with such a result its development turned out to be a pond of oil, but nothing could be further from it.and according to the emails released in the lawsuit, Rockstar bosses Sam and Dan Houser would have expressed to Benzies back in October 2009 their concern about the state of the project a few months after its launch, and that it presented serious camera and design problems.

The slopes are VERY extreme. We have to fix this. Quickly. […] The game is a nightmare. PLEASE help us get Red Dead Redemption ready.

The lawsuit highlights that Thanks to the help of Leslie Benzies and her team it was possible to complete the work in a few months, launched in May 2010 and achieved more than 13 million copies sold.
