Ubisoft thinks not having an ‘Assassin’s Creed 2016’ will benefit the movie

Although many fans of the Assassin’s Creed saga they could have been disappointed With the recent news that we wouldn’t be getting a new installment of the series this year, it seems like other people took it as a positive factor for the success of the franchise in the cinema.

During the meeting about financial resultsUbisoft CEO Yves Guillemot stated that not having an Assassin’s Creed installment this year would provides more space to the publicity team to promote the film. Guillemot comments that, in fact, the production team is “Extremely happy” that Ubisoft will not have a new game for the saga in 2016, because now they will have a full year to focus on promoting the film.

He also stated that he thinks that the assassin’s creed movie has enough to become a success, “with a grandiose production packed with experts from New Regency and the fantastic advertising and distribution power of 20th Century Fox, the Assassin’s Creed movie has the potential to be one of the biggest hits of the 2016.”
