Unfortunately we use the past tense because Naughty Dog has announced that the game is delayed more than a month and finally the April 27, 2016. A tough decision, according to the study, but necessary.
It was through the official PlayStation blog where two of those responsible for the game, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, wanted to explain to users the reasons for the delay. Although the production is in its final phase and they are delighted with the result, title size and complexity development has forced them to take more time so that all the scenes have the adequate quality instead of keeping dates and compromising that quality.
From Naughty Dog they assure that it has been a very difficult decision, but when the reasons are to maintain quality, something normal in the case of such an important IP for the studio and for Sony itself is more than reasonable. In the meantime we can take off our overalls with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.
