After the renowned writers Amy Hennig and Justin Richmond will leave their positions as writers of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, both popular directorsNeil Druckmann and Bruce Streley, apparently decided to ditch the script previously written by Hening and Richmond to start from scratch.
The information was confirmed during an interview for the Associated Press published by the New York Times and some other media. According to Straley, “this is the Uncharted project bigger and more ambitious that Naughty Dog has ever thought to put its efforts into.
The creative continues saying that “they wanted to do justice” and for this project to be a rewarding adventure for the player’s eyes and extremely impressive for his mind. “Everyone is bleeding out of their eyes to do this. We want to make sure Drake leave correctly“
Hennig and Richmond have been highly acclaimed for their excellent work in the Ucharted series, but unfortunately we will be left wanting to know what they had prepared for this installment and what would have been the destination by Nathan Drake. Henning left Naughty Dog in March 2014, while Richmond also left weeks later; apparently both creatives received some offers, contrary to rumors that they were unhappy at the studio.
