Popular retailer GameStop appears again in the video game news media, this time with a rumor related to Star Wars Battlefront, the latest installment of the series released end of 2015 for PlayStation 4 and other current generation platforms.
A GameStop listing discovered by Polygon claims that the expansion will be available to download starting this coming April 5 at 9 am CT/ 10 am ET. Fortunately, not only the release date has been shared. Apparently Outer Rim will be able to acquire about $14.99 in North America and probably the price be very similar in Europe; Of course, those who have the $49.99 Season Pass will receive the DLC for free.
In February we had some details about Outer Rim, which will arrive with new maps, more heroes, and “a whole new game mode” called “Extraction.” Among the additional content we will find places like the factories of Sullust and Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tattooine. Beyond this, no further details were shared about the content or the release date of the DLC.
