Oppo A57 4G announced with Helio G35 SoC and faster charging
Oppo introduced the A57 in April with the Dimensity 810 SoC and 5G connectivity, and has now announced a 4G-only version with the Helio G35 chip.
However, that is not the only difference between the two variants. The 4G model packs a 5,000mAh battery that now charges faster up to 33W instead of 10W, but the screen refresh rate is reduced from 90Hz to 60Hz. This is still a 6” LCD. 56″ with HD+ resolution.
Memory and storage have also decreased. You get 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. However, the Oppo A57 4G supports RAM expansion of up to 4GB, which will barely make a difference, and storage expansion of up to 1TB.
The Oppo A57 4G looks identical to its 5G counterpart at first, but on closer inspection you can notice the slightly different camera island design. The 4G version also flaunts the Oppo Glow design.
Other highlights of the Oppo A57 4G include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 13MP main camera, 2MP depth sensor, 8MP selfie camera, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, IP54 rating and Dirac 3.0 certified.
The Oppo A57 4G runs ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 and has two color options: Glossy Black and Glossy Green.
