Players report massive waves of lag in ‘The Division’

Ubisoft seemed to have learned from their mistakes passed at the beginning of the launch of Tom Clancy’s The Division last March, although it is a fairly simple title in terms of its gameplay, which we have seen successfully in other games in the past generations. However, being massively multiplayer online, some situations can go terribly wrong.

The last of them seems to be involved with lag surges reported by a high number of players, which is accused of making it impossible to enjoy this gaming experience. Although we still do not know the official reasons for this problem, which is reported to be getting worse and worse, many of the players they start to blame to the abuse of “exploits” that allow you to make glitches to defeat enemies with little ammunition or get an unlimited amount of money by following a few simple steps.

Among user complaints, we can read the following: “It’s extremely unplayable,” wrote NMATEofARKHAM on the official Ubisoft forum, stating that “I just spent 15 minutes on a difficult mission that should have taken me 5. I had to wait like 5 minutes for a check point to load because the game couldn’t understand what was happening. All the enemies were dead.

On Reddit, hexmare stated that “he was shooting but the shots were not registering, I waited a couple of seconds and then the damage indicators and objects appeared. It’s partly funny. But at least they are trying to fix things. For those of us who stay here, this will suck until they can fix it.”
