‘The Division’ had the most played beta in a new IP, more than 6 million downloads

As many of you know, last weekend The open beta of Tom Clancy’s The Division, the new massively multiplayer shooter from Ubisoft that will be released in the current generation this coming year, was held on PS4, Xbox One and PC. March 8, 2016.

The France-based developer has officially confirmed that 6.4 million players participated in The Division beta, with an average of 4 hours and 52 minutes for each player, of which a third was invested in a “Dark Zone”. In fact, 2.5 million players enjoyed the “Dark Zone”, extracting more than 63,309,800 objects contaminated.
