Today, Digital Extremes hosted TennoCon and announced a new game titled “Soulframe” along with the reveal of new content for Warframe.
We kick off with the announcement of Soulframe, a new title from the studio’s veterans led by Warframe Creative Director Steve Sinclair.
It will be a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC, and currently has no release date.
Still, we see a trailer, which you can enjoy below.
That said, Digital Extremes isn’t moving away from Warframe. At the end of the live stream, Sinclair handed over (actually, they were boxers) to Director of Live Operations and Community Rebecca Ford, who will take over as Creative Director for Warframe.
Along with the announcement, we were able to see previews of upcoming content.
Specifically, we see a reveal trailer for Veilbreaker, once again putting players into the Grineer Kahl-175 lancer armor, after The New War.
A second trailer features The Duviri Paradox, which challenges the player to control an outlaw known as the Drifter in a new open-world based expansion.
We’ll meet new and familiar characters as we try to wrest control of Duviri from the tyrant Dominus Thrax. It will be released this winter.
Warframe is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
