This was the prototype of a more realistic ‘Street Fighter V’

Thanks to the images that accompany the art book From Street Fighter V we have been able to see the different states the game went through before reaching the final appearance it looks like now. And it draws a lot of attention that originally the look of the game was going to be much more realisticvery far from the more manga designs that continue in the wake of Street Fighter IV and the previous ones.

In the images we can see a Ryu with a beard (that was maintained), without a shirt and badly injured by the effects of the Satsui no Hadö. Fight against a bison that has very little to do with the character that we all have in our heads.

The art book also reflects sketches of different clothes of lesser known characters such as Karin or Birdie.

Street Fighter V is now on sale for PlayStation 4 and PC and Capcom is working hard to solve all the initial connection problems, since the online component is vital in a game like this.
