In an interview with GamesRadar, popular game director Neil Druckmann stated that I would be very happy to see a different studio take charge of development, but only if they were willing and able to maintain the “essence” of Uncharted. He added that “if they play an excellent game I would be excited. I would like to play an Uncharted that I haven’t worked on. “It would be a lot of fun.”
Of course he also commented that Naughty Dog would have to have some kind of authority: “Of course we would have to have participation as creators of the franchise, but simply because we want to make sure that it is captured the essence correctly“
