‘Battalion 1944’, a new shooter in World War II, is announced

Thanks to a Kickstarter campaign the studio Bulkhead Interactive has published the ambitious plan to return to the shooting a setting that we had not seen on our consoles for a long time after both Call of Duty and Battlefield have gone in other more current and futuristic directions.

Battalion 1944 is the name of the game they are developing and is looking for honor to the most classic shooters set in the second great war led by two giants like Call of Duty and Medal of Honor. It will run with the engine Unreal Engine 4 and will feature real and historical scenarios and events, equipment customization as well as a Competitive multiplayer with up to 16 opponents.

The study is already in the pre-alpha phase and funding is seeking 100,000 pounds to finish it and launch it in May 2017 for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
