Unreal Engine becomes compatible with Virtual Reality

Epic Games confirmed a few hours ago that its famous Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine has finally been adapted to the virtual reality format. A few months ago, Epic had confirmed that they were very interested in the format and the direction it was taking in the world of video games.

That’s why they finally got down to work and it was the company’s own technical director, Mile Fricker is in charge of showing with Tim Sweeney the result of his work, with an editor compatible with virtual reality.

At the moment it has been confirmed that it will be possible to work with Oculus and HTC Vive although it has not been said when the working tool will be available. As far as PlayStation VR is concerned, there is no news at the moment, although we assume it will not take long to adapt the system.
