55 million PS4 and Xbox One sold are the figures that EA manages

In addition to talking about the upcoming games that Electronic Arts plans to launch in the next fiscal year – until March 31, 2017 – the investors meeting has served to learn other curious facts such as the number of consoles sold that is handled in their offices, a necessary piece of information so that suited managers can do their numbers and know if certain products will give them enough benefits to consider them good deals.

Speaking of Xbox One and PlayStation 4, At the moment the consoles on which their next big projects such as Mass Effect: Andromeda, Fifa 17 or Battlefield are focused (I hope Nintendo NX joins the listand that is something that I am sure many Nintendo fans share with me), the global console sales figure stands at about 55 million units.

As far as is known, PlayStation 4 was close to 36 million of consoles sold according to the latest figures, which would leave Xbox One with 19 million, a figure that cannot be compared because Redmond is being somewhat opaque with the consoles sold recently.

We’ll see how this 2016 just started develops, but given the amount of exclusives that Sony has prepared for PlayStation 4, it doesn’t seem like the trend is going to change too much, although I’m sure the Japanese won’t lose sight of Microsoft or what Nintendo is going to do.
