Ubisoft delays ‘Rainbow Six Siege’ update 2.3 on PS4 and Xbox One

Ubisoft has announced through the official Twitter account of Rainbow Six Siege that the game’s 2.3 update, scheduled to launch today on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, has had to be delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

More specifically, the company explains in a forum thread that a bug has been found when testing the patch in the matchmaking of casual games, which prevents games from being created. “For this reason, we were forced to delay the patch while we investigate the problem”.

However, the patch It is now available on PC for more than a week and has fixed a series of errors in the game, mainly in the matchmaking of casual and ranked games. Some areas were also fixed so that you cannot kill so easily attackers from inside the structures when they are still respawning, as well as adjusting the range of Frost’s weapon and Upgrade Buck’s Shotgun to open larger holes and be more effective in opening doors.

The patch on consoles has been delayed until the detected error is resolved, so we will keep you informed about future updates.
