Mac 2023: “Launch Event” scheduled for the end of the month!

According to what was reported by today’s source, Apple will hold a launch between October 30th and 31st, relating to the new 2023 Macs.

There has often been talk of the new iPad 2023 and Mac 2023, but recently sources were talking about a possible total postponement to 2024. Today, however, everything seems to have changed!

Apple is likely planning a launch event for a series of new Macs this month, which will take place on Monday, October 30 or Tuesday, October 31, according to SamaGame News reporter Mark Gurman.

The prediction of the journalist, who has always been well connected with the Apple world, is based on information obtained from sources with apparent knowledge of Apple’s plans, as well as on the fact that some existing Mac models are in short supply online and in Apple retail stores, further confirming more this thesis.

iMac 2023

Gurman notes that several configurations of the 24-inch iMac, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros are facing shipping delays. This several-week delay alone is “a clear sign that something is about to happen,” Gurman says.

Gurman believes the most likely Mac to announce this month is a new 2023 24-inch iMac. The current 2021 iMac hasn’t been updated for more than 900 days and is the only model left in Apple’s Mac line that still uses the M1 chip, so it absolutely needs to be modernized.

MacBook Pro 2023

As for the alleged new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros, Gurman reported that he doesn’t expect any major changes beyond the new processors, although they could add small improvements to the display. Notably, DigiTimes recently said that Apple will release new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with more efficient mini-LED displays, for the first time.

In short, are we really there?
