That’s how blunt they have been since Bethesda, where they talk about the technical power of the game on consoles thanks apparently to its idTech 6 graphics engine, which gives the game another step of realism and a striking on-screen presentation.
It was Billy Khan himself, one of the game’s main programmers, who spoke about the matter, commenting as follows:
We want players to wonder how games like DOOM powered by an idTech 6 engine can be so visually stunning at 60 frames per second and 1080p definition on all platforms.
