Square Enix has finally revealed the way Final Fantasy VII Remake will be structured, the new installment of the series which will be adapted to modern technology but following the steps, story and characters of the original game; definitely the dream of most of the fans of the franchise.
Unfortunately the episodic method It has disappointed many players. As revealed in the latest Game Informer magazine, producer Yoshinori Kitase has stated that the company will use Final Fantasy XIII, an installment that includes three different gamesas a base model for this new remake.
This is what a says Game Informer editor in the magazine:
This epic re-imagined version will be the next main Final Fantasy installment (or rather, installments). When the project was first announced, people focused on its multi-part nature, but the goal is to structure it more as an episodic series similar to Final Fantasy XIII.
Following this, the producer Kitase adds the following:
Essentially it will be a full scale game in each of its parts. In XIII, each installment told the story from a different angle. It was like approaching unknown territory in every direction.
