New details and trailer for Final Fantasy XV

Square Enix has presented a new Active Time Report where a new trailer for the long-awaited Final Fantasy XV has been shown. In this new trailer we travel to the now unprecedented Nilfheim base, in which our protagonist Noctis and his group intend to infiltrate, stealthily defeating the enemies, until they are discovered and the action begins. Furthermore, at the end of the video we can see a female character yet to be discovered who could be an enemy.

In the video shown we can also see different improvements and changes compared to what was seen in the Episode Duscae demo. The camera has been improved with the intention of making it as autonomous as possible, that is, we do not have to correct it all the time. Finally, and it is something that is very striking, the user interface has been completely renewed with respect to its playable demo, and it is not surprising that in both aspects we still see some more changes, since the development team is finalizing the details of the video game.

The Active Time Report has also revealed the existence of two different magic disciplines: elemental and rings. The first is made up of fire, blizzard and lightning magic, which have different effects depending on the weather and the setting. For example, for fire magic there are objects that are flammable (as seen in the video), lightning is strengthened in the event that it rains, and blizzards can temporarily freeze water. Ring magic, on the other hand, can only be used by the bearer of the royal ring of Lucis and its power is unlocked at a certain point in the story.

Finally, Square Enix has announced that on March 30 it will hold another event called Uncovered Final Fantasy XV in which the release date of the game for PS4 and Xbox One will be revealed, which would be dated for this year.
