F1 23 updates Formula 2 cars and brings improvements from Formula 1 teams

Electronic Arts has updated its EA SPORTS F1 23, offering players the experience of the 2023 Formula 2 season and the long-awaited Sports Update. These new features, now available, offer greater immersion in the season, with updates that take place throughout the year.

The Sports Update reflects the changes made by each F1 team, from sponsor updates to changes to colors, vehicles and bodywork. The range of changes, detailed here, highlights the commitment to capturing the dynamic evolution of the sport throughout the season.

Just as an example, we can mention McLaren, which in the last three races has improved, with its two cars scoring more points than even the champion Red Bull.

The 2023 Formula 2 season features this season’s participating drivers, such as Théo Pourchaire, Frederik Vesti, Ayumu Iwasa, Arthur Leclerc and Enzo Fittipaldi. Players can participate in these events in Career, F1 World and Multiplayer modes.

Additionally, F1 23 players can anticipate some new features, such as the Haas ‘Home Race’ livery, overalls and boots, available to winners of the Nico Hulkenberg Scenario Event from October 17th to 23rd. This first-of-its-kind collaboration with EA SPORTS F1 23 celebrates Haas’ home race week in Las Vegas, giving fans the chance to enjoy this special livery.

The game will also receive a new livery from another team later in the week, while driver ratings will be updated on October 19 to better reflect real-world performance in Singapore, Japan and Qatar. Additionally, F1 Esports Series champions such as Lucas Blakeley, the current 2022 champion, will make their debut as My Team Icons from now on.
